Lund is a lovely city

Great location in the middle of Lund. Helpful staff. Quiet. Very nice breakfast.

The rooms were not clean. There was dust under the bed and dirt found in the bed. We had to wait 1 hour after check in before we had access to our second room.

Very Good

The breakfast buffet was fine - quite a big selection. The bread was maybe not top-notch (just ordinary rolls) but still perfectly fine. There were few 'wow' experiences (the juice is from a cartoon, but there was a nice yoghurt smoothie as an alternative), the tea selection was meagre, but I left the breakfast table entirely satisfied.

The rooms are rather cute but small.

What was the highlight of Hotel Concordia

Location. Size.

My room was not nice, it was functional. The windows looked into The Atrium which had the Reception in it, and also a lounge area, and served as additional dining space. Consequently I was disturbed late at night and early in the morning. Immediately opposite the windows was an open walkway which was in constant use, I felt it was necessary to keep the blinds down when I was in the room in order to have privacy. I didn’t like the pillows which were the size of cushions and the single duvet was not adequate. The meal I had in their restaurant on my first evening was awful.

A lovely hotel

A very nice hotel in a lovely location. The breakfast was really good and the hotel had bikes we could take out which we really enjoyed! The lounge terrace was also a really good feature.

Unfortunately our room faced the lobby, meaning that having the curtains or window open was a bit intrusive. This was probably just luck of the draw on the ground floor.

What was the highlight of Hotel Concordia

Great value for money at great location, quiet rooms.

I was delighted with the quiet location that is very close to the central station! The corridors are winding and confusing which I loved, personally, but I could see how some might find it disorienting. The staff was very helpful! The breakfast rooms were cosy. You have to be let in, if you don't have a keytag, which heightens sense of security. The shower had good pressure and was easy to adjust for water temperature. Covers and pillow were comfy, and so was the armchair. I appreciated VERY much the flatiron, and the good height of the ironing board.

I did find the bed a little hard, but not unsleepably so. There could have been more options for light in the room, but because the bed lamp was adjustable, it worked excellent anyway. The shower room had a very sharp corner on the small water-stopping wall, that was an instant alarm bell for my toes. Fortunately, because I noticed it and was afraid, I didn't hit it even once. Success! I was very disappointed with the tea assortment. Lipton?! Worse than many a no-brand budget alternative! No, Lipton is not an acceptable alternative for a hotel.

What was the highlight of Hotel Concordia

Lund is a very nice university town just 40' train far from Copenhagen

It's a very nice hotel located close to Lund's attractions like the cathedral, the library and the shopping area, at 10' walk from the station. The breakfast buffet is abundant with sweet and savoury choices. The shower is very large, but we weren't able to adjust the water temperature, it was very very hot. The room was very romantic with exposed beams, original floors and a sofa. The area is quite calm.

We noticed that the dishes were washed by hand in the kitchen near to the breakfast room, what suprised us a lot. When we checked in, the desk didn't inform us that the cleaning of the room was "on request". They told us that there is a big sign in the room informing about that, but we didn't see it, however we expect that a 4 stars hotel should inform of this rule when the guests check in.

Fine for a short stay

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, walking distance from the train station in a very beautiful historic building. Comfy bed, breakfast okay.

For a short stay for one person the room was alright, but it is definitely smaller and does not look like the pictures! For two people it would have been way too cramped. Breakfast takes place in the adjacent restaurant, however, the place was also overcrowded most mornings and not very pleasant.

Good

Nice staff, good location and comfortable beds.

The shower room was small with a minute washbasin with, to make things worse, a shelf over. I hit my head several times trying to lean over the washbasin while brushing my teeth. Breakfast was quite chaotic on the week-end (when they only started serving at 8 am) with far too may people for the limited space. That was a pity as it was quite good during the week. The room was not cleaned during our three day stay. I know this is quite common in Sweden, but still don't like it.
